Easter Cupcakes!

In need of a yummy Easter treat I began searching...when I came across this Running With Glitter: Pastel Spring Cupcakes
After much debate (is this going to be too hard for a newbie in the kitch) I decided to go for it. Here's how I did it, and how they turned out. First I gathered my ingredients.

Then I mixed my cake mix as the package said. Afterwards I divided it into 4 bowls, and added the food coloring.

Next, I layered the cupcake pan with the colors in the order I wanted, blue, green, yellow and pink. (I forgot to take a picture of that step)
I put them in the oven and waited anxiously. Once they were done, I put them on my cooling rack to cool.

Last I iced the cupcakes, added sprinkles, and ate up.
